Hoped you enjoyed it! ~~~~~LAMB SHANK RECIPE~~~~~ Ingredients: 4 lamb shanks *Optional* (dry spice rub : seven spice, cinnamon powder, black pepper, pink salt, vegetable seasoning) extra virgin olive oil (measure with your heart) I also use unsalted butter 2 tomatoes (chopped) 2 sprigs rosemary 1 cinnamon stick 2 bay leafs 1 whole garlic (halved) 1 large onion (chopped) 2 large carrots (chopped) 2 medium potatoes (chopped) 2 large celery ( chopped) 1 whole container of vegetable stock (if you prefer beef stock that works as well ) salt to taste Method: 1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Heat oil in the cast iron pan over medium-high heat. 3. Sear the lamb shanks on each side until golden/brown and set aside. 4. Add onion, carrot to the same pan and cook until the vegetables developed colour. 5. Add the rest of the vegetables and herbs to the pan and vegetable broth. 6. Then add lamb shanks and once it gets to a boil cover it and bake it in the oven for 3 hours or more until shanks are tender. 7. Once they are cooked and out of the oven let the lamb shank rest for 5-10 minutes or eat right away :) . 8.
