Adalaj Vav: A 5 storey deep, 14th Century Stepwell near Ahmedabad | Is it worth visiting?

Located in the village of Adalaj, 20kms from Ahmedabad city and in Indian state of Gujarat. It is intricately carved, is five stories deep and considered a fine example of Indian architecture! We visited here early in the morning (opens at 8am), finding the place all to ourselves. It was so calm, you can hear sounds of pigeons all through the stepwell. CoVID is giving us opportunity to travel within India (with enough safety precautions) and explore our beautiful history and architecture. This is first of such trips for us!
