Falcon MD20 has been modified by : 1. making a handle and permanently attaching the probe and the electronic circuit MD20 to it. The lenght enables you to work in an upright position (just as with a regular metal detector ). The handle is waterproof so you can use it in water up to about 25 in ( 65 cm) deep ; 2. adding an additional switch thanks to which the MD20 can be turned off without having to be tuned again after you turn it back on; 3. adding a cover over the tuning knobs, whitch prevents the circuit from accidentally going out of adjusment (e.g. catching tour clothes on the knobs ); 4. the probe wire-the electronic circuit runs inside the handle so it is protected from damage. This solution makes the device more durable and easier to use. It is more confortable to use when scanning the floors , walls and ceilings of abandoned mines.
