We adopted these two mini donkeys, Lil Bud and Miss Emmy Lou from a neighbor who was over feeding these two. They have some permemnet health issues as a result of 24/7 access to green grass and overfeeding with treats so now in partnership with our veterinarian we have been implementing a plan and both donkeys have lost quite a bit of weight. They probably won't loose much more but they're better off and we're thankful for all that we've learned over the last year that these two special beings have become a part of our solar-powered farm. We're focusing on their "donkey care" by carefully managing their "donkey diet" through controlled "feeding donkeys" practices, including weekly "rotational grazing".
