Spielberg on (NOT) storyboarding 'Always' (1989) and where to put the camera

I found an old interview with #Spielberg from 1989 for the release of ‘Always’ - his often over-looked remake of Victor Fleming's 'A Guy Named Joe'. Always a perceptive interviewer of film-makers Jim Whaley asks him if he boarded this one and Spielberg says no... but kinda, yeah! The forest fire scenes were done by ILM with miniatures and I found boards for those seqs. Not sure who made them but the concept artist was James Hegedus. They then get into 'where do you place the camera' briefly before the conversation shifts after that. I couldn’t resist throwing in the long lens shot at the end.
