This is my bass tab of Red House by Jimi Hendrix. It is my note for note transcription of the original Hendrix track. This was originally played by Noel Redding, on a guitar, but I have transcribed it with the same notes for bass. This is why it’s so high up the neck. It is dedicated to Jimi Hendrix I'm playing all the instruments and singing. I started by separating the original track into drums/bass/guitar/vocal. I then painstakingly transcribed all the parts note for note and replayed them. I then went into the recording booth and sang the song. Red House was written by Jimi Hendrix. It was originally released in Britian on the 1967 album: Are You Experienced. The Equipment used in this recording is as follows: Slate ML1 Microphone The software is Cubase Pro. The audio interface is a Volt 476P. The Bass sound was created with a Gretsch short body bass straight into the Axe. The Guitar is an Epiphone SG plugged straight into the Axe. Amplitube 5 was used for amp emulation. All vocals were recorded with the Slate ML1 Ozone 11 was used for mastering. The video, and the recording, were produced by Abraham Myers.
