Lal jhamela Basti is a popular picnic spot in dooars. It is located by the Chengmari Tea garden at Sukna, near Nagrakata in the district of Jalpaiguri, North Bengal. A beautiful hanging bridge is the highlight of the place. This hanging bridge has connected Bhutan to Bhutan. A beautiful river, Diana is flowing through this place. Sound of flowing water through the huge rocks makes this place awesome. Thousands of picnic party visit every year here. Another interesting thing I noticed here is fishes. There are plenty of fish in this river. But the strange thing is that they are all in one place, just under the hanging bridge. They are free but they are not running away. This might be the strangest thing in that place. Above all the place is amazing. One can feel the heavenly pleasure and peace over here. I'll Suggest everyone to visit the place at least once.
