The Hornet is an Alfa Romeo Tonale with a unique bumper, headlights, different wheels, and a different rear light bar… but unlike the PHEV only Tonale, the Hornet, here in this $41,060 GT Plus Blacktop Pack trim, can get a 2.0L Turbo-4 that is pretty potent. Combined with the Giulia’s quick steering rack, this thing really is a darty Hornet on the roads. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: My Hornet GT Plus tester came with a GME 2.0L Turbo 4 making 265HP & 295 lb-ft of torque paired to a 9 speed gearbox and sending power to all four wheels. 0-60 happens in under 6.5sec. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Inside is a sea of black though we get a fantastically configureable 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a quick responding 10.3-inch Connect 5 infotainment with wireless carplay & android. My tester came with a $2,245 Tech pack with a solid adaptive cruise/highway drive assist system and 360 cameras. Was it good? Well I personally had no mechanical or tech issues though according to the internet and some owners I am alone as electrical gremlins are reportedly common on early units. My only real complaints were the lack of a sunroof for nearly $42k along with an award driving position and lower than expected fuel economy.
