Nancy did a fantastic job with “Wake Up”; she managed to sing with Layne as Layne’s recording with Mad Season In 1995. As the music played they manage to sing in harmony of one another. This is an unexpected & non-professional recording - FAN RECORDING ONLY Video from the Layne Staley Tribute on 8/24/18 at the Showbox. Jar of Flies were the only performers this year with no guests. We did miss Nancy singing unfortunately, but we did get quite a few videos, nonetheless of JOF. We’ve covered this tribute for sometime now and we’re not stopping anytime soon! We would like to acknowledge JT Phillips who has organized this annual event for the past several years now. It brings people from all over the world! This year we had people from the UK and Italy including South America too! I can’t imagine this tribute ever ending.
