Past peer Solomon Booth on the First Nations arts and culture panel

Solomon is the founding and concurrent chair of Moa Arts Centre on Moa Island in the Torres Strait (since 2010). Solomon has been professionally practising printmaking, both intaglio and relief, since 2001 and has been involved in numerous group exhibitions. Solomon has made the finals of many art awards since winning his first award back in 2010, the Gab Titui Indigenous Art Awards. Solomon has been a recipient of the British Council of the Arts Accelerate program in 2013, this further developed his capacity in leadership in both governance and his own art practice. Solomon’s work has been viewed and collected in major art institutions both nationally and internationally and also by art collectors.
