Please turn on CC for Commentary. I didn't wanna TA run USJ: Shine On Forever for the longest time because Sarah MH already did a phenomenal run a while back with Lightbreak Gun 👌🏻. Sarah did it without Temper/Booster food skills & had only Attack Augment I. On top of it, Sarah also did a really cool quick ammo-switch shooting 😎. Please go check it out here:    • MHW:IB (PS4) Velkhana 2'50"03 | Solo RF No...   It's amazing! I'm not very competitive & I'm kinda lazy. So, I never felt the need to do a Velky run till now 😁. But I'm starting to run a bit low on Monsters that I can TA run in Iceborne...& Velky is currently trending because of their recent appearance in Sunbreak. So, I figured this is as good a time as any to make this run happen. And I wanted to do it the same way Sarah did. No Temper/Booster & No Attack Augment II (Just level I) But I messed up & realized a bit too late (after getting this run) that Sarah only had Attack Boost lvl 6. I had lvl 7. (I was hitting 246 + 123 + 123 per volley. Sarah did 245 + 122 + 122). And that's prolly the only reason I beat their time but I don't really wanna redo it with Attack Boost lvl 6. So 🤷🏻‍♀ Our passive skills are a bit different, too. Like I had more Evade Windows but no Constitution. With Lightbreak Gun, I think sub 2:30 is possible with full buffs (temper / booster / Attk Aug II) if anybody wanna try it out. I'm not gonna do a full buff run tho. As usual, this run is done in 60 fps, 1080p. Therefore, right after dropping off from 3 x Slap agitating/tenderizing opener, you can shoot a volley right away. If you stay a little off Velky's charging path, you can snipe their head during the charge. While Velky is blowing down Ice Rings, you can snipe their head, too, but you have to i-frame the rings if you're within radius of those. With mind's eye/ballistics skill, you can out-distance Velky's tail stabs. Your ammo can reach Velky's head but the tail can't reach you. I still have no idea what Velky's head topple threshold is...You might wanna look it up so you can count your shots to get chain topples during your speedrun. I just went Unga Bunga till all the planets aligned.
