This video features a few trains from the last few months of railfanning the BNSF Madill Sub that feature some interesting foreign power, something that's somewhat rare on the former Frisco line. On 2/25/18, I caught a southbound manifest freight at the California Crossing Rd. grade crossing with two BNSF units and a Norfolk Southern Dash 9. A few months later on 4/15/18, I saw a trio of trains at the north end of Gribble Siding, two of which had foreign locomotives. After a standard pair of BNSF GEs rolled by hauling a southbound manifest freight, another southbound followed sporting a BNSF Dash 9 and two NS motors, one being an ex-Conrail Dash 8. After both of these trains had passed, a northbound rock train that had been sitting in the siding departed with a standard BNSF GEVO, a 4700-series Fakebonnet Dash 9, and a UP GEVO that was supposedly dead at first but appeared to be on line when the train finally left. 0:00 Southbound manifest freight - BNSF 4638 (Dash 9-44CW), NS 9224 (Dash 9-44CW), BNSF 5158 (Dash 9-44CW) 2:30 Southbound manifest freight - BNSF 7279 (ES44DC), BNSF 6195 (ES44AC) 4:34 Southbound manifest freight - BNSF 7123 (ES44C4), NS 9587 (Dash 9-44CW), NS 8364 (Dash 9-40CW) 7:56 Northbound rock train - BNSF 7837 (ES44DC), BNSF 4705 (Dash 9-44CW), UP 7782 (AC45CWCTE) Thanks for watching!
