Unboxing experience is above average. The remote looks good. And conveniently has a learning mode button, so you may end up with learning most of your TV remote’s controls. The design: simplistic, good usage of materials. What you won’t immediately realize is how slim that thing is – compared to the Tanix TX9 Pro iit is small, and compared to the Minix Neo … looks like a mini-version. I like a lot the bottom side – it is rubberized and that means excellent grip. There’s a tiny hole to get access to the reset button. The box is a fingerprint capturer, but that’s fine – once installed you barely touch it.. We seem to get everything even a power user may wish for: USB port, HDMI, LAN and SPDIF on one side, and over here we have microSD support and USB 3.0 port. Under the hood we have the quad core Allwinner h6, which comes as competition to the 900 series of Amlogic. In some areas it is even better than the S912 (currently the best Amlogic CPU for TV Boxes), offering USB 3.0, 4k@60fps and even 6K support! The initial setup is super basic, so I am jumping straight to the launcher. If you follow the channel closely, you know I am a big fan of Nova launcher, and it’s the first time I don’t feel the need to install it. Beelink have created an amazing design, both aesthetically and functionally. Bloatware is missing. Root is part of the official ROM (now I like the box even more). And – it is the original SuperSU! Be careful with installing the SuperSU app - I managed to brick my device by putting the Supersu from the PlayStore. There is a recovery procedure to flash the ROM via USB. And you will need a male-to male USB cable or connector to do that. Gaming performance is lovely. I’ve easily added my Xiaomi Bluetooth Gamepad and played a bit. The CPUis accompanied by the powerful Mali-T720 MP2 and offers very good gaming experience. Although I am recording the screen in Full HD resolution there are no drops noticeable. Antutu scores higher than 36000 – again – with recording on the background. And I believe that the user experience matches higher score than that. The interface is really smooth and polished and this box certainly is already a contender for the 2017 favorite. =========== www.GearBest.com courtesy.
