This piece was inspired by the beauty of Western Colorado. It's my first full length octave mandolin composition and I wrote snippets of it while staying in Cotopaxi and Loveland. I couldn't resist making a live outdoor recording after discovering a beautiful field this autumn near the Trout home in Fort Collins.
