After a quick phone call from Sam Ricketts from NZWA the plan was made, drive down through central North Island and paddle the park and huck Raukawa Falls, Located on the Mangawhero River just South of the Tongariro national park. It’s well worth the Park and Huck if you are heading down to the South Island! With a clean 4 Meter entrance drop the only exit from this unique soft rock gorge is sliding down the 12 Meter exit drop into a big pool.
