Canggu, Bali. Saturday, 24 January 2026. It’s a bright and beautiful day in Canggu, Bali, at the end of January — the perfect time for a relaxing beach walk while enjoying one of Bali’s stunning sunsets. We park our scooter on Pererenan Beach Road and take a short walk towards Pererenan Beach. This area is often chosen as an alternative route into Canggu, helping visitors avoid the heavy traffic along Pererenan–Tanah Lot Main Street and Canggu Main Street. From Pererenan Beach, we continue walking towards Batu Mejan Beach, better known as Echo Beach. This beach is especially busy on weekends, attracting many international tourists. Along Echo Beach, visitors enjoy the late afternoon by relaxing at beachfront restaurants and cafés, including La Brisa, a well-known restaurant built on the rocky edge of the beach. Echo Beach is famous as a gathering spot for young travellers, known for its vibrant lifestyle and stylish atmosphere. Our journey continues to Munduk Catu Beach, a wide black sand beach that offers plenty of space for activities such as exercise, walking dogs, casual strolls, or simply sitting and enjoying the ocean view. Many tourists can be seen swimming and surfing along this stretch of coast. We then exit the beach area and walk through Pura Dalem Street, which connects Munduk Catu to Batu Bolong Beach. Passing through Batu Bolong Beach Road, we arrive at Batu Bolong Beach, an area well known for its popular bars and nightlife spots. At night, this area becomes one of the liveliest nightlife hubs in Canggu. In the late afternoon, like today, Batu Bolong Beach is filled with tourists enjoying time with family members or their partners. Our walk ends with an incredibly beautiful sunset over western Canggu, Bali, creating a perfect closing moment to this coastal journey.
