Crochet Messenger Bag Tutorial | I Designed This Using My Farmhouse Stitch In today’s video, I’m sharing how to crochet The Cherry Blossom Messenger Bag, an advanced beginner–friendly crochet purse pattern made using my original Farmhouse Stitch. This messenger-style crochet bag is sturdy, practical, and full of texture — and I’m using a yarn colorway called Cherry Splash, with beautiful shades of rosy pink, blush, and deep berry tones. I walk you step by step through the Farmhouse Stitch, bag construction, and finishing details so you can confidently make your own handmade messenger bag. This video also marks the end of January and the start of a new month, which means I’m finally starting a project I’ve been talking about — my monthly crochet ornaments. Each month, I’ll be adding scraps of yarn from everything I made into a clear ornament, and by the end of the year I’ll have a full set of 12 ornaments that tell the story of my crochet year. 🧶 In this video you’ll see: – How to crochet the Farmhouse Stitch – Construction of a messenger-style crochet bag – Tips for a sturdy, wearable crochet purse – Filling my first monthly yarn ornament for January This project is perfect if you love meaningful makes, cozy textures, and tracking your creative journey one stitch at a time. https://www.yarnspirations.com/en-ca/...
