And I know a few more people with 1911's that needs this also. It’s not hard once you know how it’s done. Also don’t run a 1911 dripping wet with oil, when I get finished cleaning a very very light coat of REM oil and wipe of till dry, just that thin coating of oil is all you need. If you want you can give the rails a very thin coat with a Q-tip buts that’s all it needs. Good luck guys now you know how. And this was for a series 70 1911 the series 80 is close but with more safety parts in both the frame and slide. In real time I can have this apart in 3 minutes or less
