Suci Puri Kediri, Bali. Tuesday, 03 March 2026. Today, the extended family of Puri Kediri is holding a Purnama ceremony. In Balinese tradition, this sacred occasion happens when the moon is at its fullest, creating a truly special and spiritual atmosphere. The ceremony is led by Ratu Mangku Suci and Ratu Mangku Istri. During this period, Turah Bagus Sudarsana is serving as the Penanggap, taking on a key ceremonial role. Several wives of the Puri Kediri family members are also lending a hand, helping ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and respectfully. On this sacred day, my parents — Ratu Aji and Ratu Ibu — and I have agreed to perform a mapekeling ritual at Suci Puri Kediri. The purpose is to seek blessings and a smooth path ahead as we prepare for my upcoming wedding ceremony with my bride-to-be, I Gusti Ayu Diah. In addition, I’ve brought my personal kris, Ki Mangala Sutra, to receive a Prayascita ritual — a sacred purification ceremony meant to cleanse and remove any negative energies. The kris, Ki Mangala Sutra, will later be used in our holy wedding ceremony, making this purification an important and meaningful part of the preparations.
