We recently returned to the Kruger National Park and once again joined the SANParks Honorary Rangers at their bush camp venue, Nyarhi (Buffalo) Rustic Bush Camp. Nyarhi is an unfenced, off-grid bush camp in the central region of the Kruger Park. We enjoyed a 3-night stay at Nyarhi, with our own dedicated game rangers, who took us on a two guided walks during our stay. We were visited in camp by elephant and hyena, and on our guided bush walks we encountered two big herds of buffalo, and had a close encounter with a group of elephant bulls! This is a magical way to experience the Kruger National Park. There is nothing like standing metres away from a large African elephant bull with nothing to protect you except for a ranger and his rifle. It connects you to nature in a way that needs to be experienced to be truly appreciated. More information on the campsite, include contact and booking information can be found at https://www.sanparksvolunteers.org/ev... For more information on the Van Fyer Outdoor range of camping products you can reach out to them on https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... My vehicle is a Ford Ranger Wildtrak (Thunder Edition) 2.0l bi-turbo diesel, fitted with a Front Runner Slimline II rack over the load bed, a Front Runner SlimSport rack on the roof, and a Front Runner Roof Top Tent. For power I use a National Luna DC25 battery pack which is wired into my vehicle for charging whilst driving, and a solar panel for charging whilst in camp. I have a Dometic CFX 35 litre fridge, which runs off the National Luna DC25. I also use a Jackery 200w Solar Power Station for charging cellphones, camera batteries etc. All footage in this video was shot on a Canon EOS R mirrorless camera with an RF 24-105 L series lens, a Sigma 150-600mm lens, a Garmin Hero 11 Black , and my Apple iPhone 14 Pro. I am not sponsored by any of the above brands. If you enjoyed this video please leave a like, and a comment, and consider subscribing to see more of my travels around South Africa, and beyond!
