Two Nucs From One Parent Hive Update #Beekeeping Basics - The Norfolk Honey Co. A few weeks ago we removed a couple of sealed queen cells from a queenright colony and created two nucleus colonies from it. In the first video we showed how to select the frames and where to position them in order to maximise the potential for creating two new queens. In this video I give an update on how those two nucs have performed. The weather for the past four weeks has been cold and wet and we were not expecting to find a great deal. We were pleasantly surprised as you can see in the video. We can only produce our regular video with the help and support of many people.
