I went to Asakusa in Tokyo. Asakusa in Tokyo is a town that still retains vestiges of its old townscape, with a very nice atmosphere where the streets still look the way they did about 100 years ago. An amusement park called Hanayashiki was built in the 19th century and is still in operation. The Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate), with its large lanterns, is very famous.
