It is situated on the river Blies, approximately 10 kilometres southwest of Homburg, 8 km west of Zweibrücken, and 20 km east of Saarbrücken. The castle church (official name: parish church St. Anna and St. Philipp ) is the parish church of the catholic parish of St. Sebastian in Blieskastel , Saarpfalz district . It bears the patronage of St. Anne and the Apostle Philip and was built as a Franciscan monastery church in late Baroque and partly early Classicist forms. In the list of monuments of the Saarland , the church is a single monument listed. I enjoyed travel here in Germany even a small city they have a lot of historical buildings and of course my favorite is all the old churches and castles here.
