Tiger Cave Temple, 1260 Steps - View becomes more and more breathtaking after each flight of stair

Tiger Cave Temple is one of the best attractions in the Province of Krabi in south Thailand. It is situated in a big jungle like area. The scariest part of the tour is to go pass the monkeys, who jump around you on the first 5 flights of stairs. Some will follow you. Be confident and walk pass them. If you have the feeling, they are following you, just look at them and warn (shout at) them not to. Don’t take any food or drinks visible. Anyway, after passing the monkeys, the challenge is to stay on foot and climb safely the very steep and uneven stairs through the jungle of trees. The view becomes after each flight of stair more and more breathtaking. Best time to visit is early morning when the heat is less. This tour was planned by my friend and guide Manow from ShowMeThai Travels very spontaneously on the day we flew back to Bangkok. So, we were a bit under pressure due to the short time available.
