The band started off as a project. After releasing their debut album “Neo-Satanism” back in 2014, Black Cult took on a full line-up and started promoting the album through live appearances. New members included Lesovik (Kult Perunov, Voloh, Gorthaur's Wrath) on bass guitar, Azaghal (Unholy Inquisition, Czaar) on rhythm guitar and Saathaen (Ashes You Leave) on lead guitar. The debut album got great critics from fans as well as reviewers. After two years of promotion, the band has retreated to their dungeons to record a new album under the name “Cathedral of the Black Cult” which was released in 2016. The line-up changed and Juko, the new lead guitarist, was brought on board. The promotion of the 2nd full-length album included various concerts and festivals and reached good critics. Work on a new album named "Nekropola" started at the beginning of 2018, but due to personal reasons, Insanus has moved to the U.K. and the band became a project once again. This delayed the recording of the album which was finally finished in October 2019. After four years of eminent silence, ghouls of Croatian black metal underworld are back! Black Cult is ready to unleash the successor of their previous album "Cathedral of the Black Cult". Album was recorded in Dungeon Studios (England) in 2018/2019 to mark Black Cult as a leading black metal act from Croatia, once again. Mixed and produced by Insanus. Eight brand new songs with ultra-aggressive and yet intriguing arrangements that will shred your ears. Through the pathways of Satanic knowledge, third full-length material will bring you new horizons in the necrotic kingdom of Black Cult.
