Porsche 914 MCs use a remote reservoir which makes bench bleeding them on an actual bench a bit messy. This method allows you to "bench bleed" in the car, using the existing reservoir and plumbing. Just open the left front bleeder, attach tubing with the other end submerged in a jar, and pump the pedal with your hand till the bubbles disappear. It helps to have a long enough length of tubing to see what's filling the jar while you're pumping. Once you've eliminated the bubbles, go ahead and bleed the brakes as usual, using whatever method you like. I upgraded my MC to a 19mm unit from 914 rubber.
