This episode of Unpacking our Stories explores the residency and work of Jiha Moon, Atlanta-based painter and ceramic artist. In this conversation, the artist and Francesca Zwang, former FWM Collections & Exhibitions Assistant, are joined by Lauren Haynes, Director of Curatorial Affairs and Programs at the Queens Museum and former FWM Project Coordinator Jennifer McTague. Together, they talk about Moon's residency and contributions to the contemporary art field. This series of pre-recorded conversations examines the stories of past Artist-in-Residence projects in the collection of The Fabric Workshop and Museum. Unpacking Our Stories connects scholars, contemporary artists, and past project coordinators to re-examine the work of celebrated artists and find compelling themes that resonate in the present. Unpacking Our Stories is made possible with support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation’s Art Museum Futures Fund. fabricworkshopandmuseum.org
