Learn how to cook the perfectly poached eggs just in time for the weekend! 🍳 This is a great way to cook eggs and is a way that everyone can eat hot poached eggs at the same time! How do you like your eggs cooked with your breakfast? Find more of my breakfast recipes here: 🧑🍳 INGREDIENTS: Poaching: • 4 free range eggs, as fresh as possible • 5kg water • 1kg malt vinegar Ice bath: • 1kg ice • 1kg water • 100g table salt 🧑🍳 METHOD: Bring water and vinegar to a rapid boil in a tall pot. Meanwhile, prepare your ice bath and crack each egg into a small dish. Once water is boiling, use a whisk to create a whirlpool in the water. Gently pour the eggs into the pot. Adjust the temperature so that the water stays at a simmer. For runny yolks. cook eggs until they feel taut but bouncy, 2½ - 3 minutes, depending on the size of your eggs. Transfer to the ice bath and leave to cool fully, about 5 minutes. To reheat, bring the poaching liquid back to a boil and pop the eggs back in for one minute.
