The sweet aroma of simmering jam, the melodious melody of accordions, and the scorching aroma of baked bread still waft through the centuries-old dwellings. In 2009, Yining implemented a "renovation-as-it-was" approach to preserve and renovate the old street, allowing it to retain its original texture while also flourishing with cultural and creative shops, intangible cultural heritage experience centers, and travel photography stalls. Today, it is one of the first national-level tourist and leisure districts, and it is also the poetry and distance of fire in the song "Apple Fragrance"
