THEY DID IT! This was a powerful celebration of perseverance, partnership, and possibility. We celebrated seven graduates [known as the "Serve it up Seven] who successfully completed the York Technical College Culinary Workforce Readiness Program—and every graduate passed their ServSafe® Certification, a major milestone that opens doors to real workforce opportunities in the culinary industry! The room was filled with friends, neighbors, partners, and supporters who came together to cheer on this next step in each graduate’s journey toward self-sufficiency. Moments like this remind us that progress is built through community, encouragement, and shared belief in what’s possible. We are deeply grateful for our partnership with York Technical College and for the leadership, care, and expertise of Chef Teshia, whose guidance helped turn commitment into achievement. This was hope and help in action. Our hearts were full. Our spirits were lifted. And our community was stronger because we showed up—together.
