With his music, Jonas has the chance to become “Clip of the Year” here on this channel. Who is this guy? Jonas is a talented drummer, as is easy to recognize, and a convinced street musician because of his undisguised closeness to his audience. He comes from Aachen in the very west of Germany, where he developed his sound and first brought excitement to the pedestrian zone there. That was several years ago and he has since performed in numerous pedestrian zones in Germany and neighboring countries and also plays with other musicians when the opportunity arises. Jonas H. describes his musical style as GARBAGE DRUMMING and uses discarded pots, lids, pans, plastic canisters, Tupperware and lots and lots of plastic pipes from the DIY store to create sounds. He records the noises, samples them and underlays them with groovy techno beats - and the result is an extremely exciting sound! He called his project AFTER COOKING - you know why..... Jonas says that he used to drum on all sorts of things as a child, then the sound of a plastic pipe falling over gave him the idea of putting a micro in it and.....
