Top War SVS Szliszka defense perspective (winning server) SvS Server 1508 vs 1432 Battle date: 10/29/2022 Didn’t upload SVS 2 weeks ago against the once dominant 1527 because that server died and there was little to no action to be shown. This week’s SVS was different. Asia servers finally opened for competition globally and we faced S1432, one of the top Asian servers around with many whales and tons of strong players to duke it out with. 1508 was a little more top heavy with more 40M+ CP players and both servers had 1 60M CP player. It’s incredible to see how fast 1508 has grown (I barely make top 100 in CP now but am still competitive). Another major change in this SVS was the heavy trooper and level 81 troop mechanic, which made it much more difficult to replenish troops to the highest merge level. 1508 sported a balanced offense and defense (with more whales on defense), while 1432 went harder on offense with 3 of their top players fighting on our server. This led to a very strong attack on our Item ruin, which took about 10 minutes for them to take down the towers and defenders and another 10 minutes for them to actually capture it after much back and forth with our strongest players. This also had the consequence of our offensive teams rolling over their ruins and completely capturing them over the course of the first 30 minutes. We ended up pulling back and giving up our item ruin to focus on defending the other 2 ruins + cap, and was able to keep them despite a strong follow up assault on the north resource ruin. I took a few hits from VIP16 whales through weakening, but at my level of strength now, it is uncommon for me to get zeroed. Towards the end, they pulled back to their server in order to take back their capital, which was under our control for a few minutes. They also made moderate use of corrosive mucus on our whales during capital, which is always fun to see. Overall, this was the most expensive SVS for me in a long time, where I expended 20% of my training speeds and a good chunk of item units. Worth it for the quality time. Key moments: 1:03 - 1432's item ruin siege. Several base snipes on the non-morale players. 7:35 - Item ruin tug o war as our defensive weakening towers all went down. They eventually capture it. 18:30 - 1432's assault of the resource level 3 ruin where I was based. Due to the concentration of our item ruin teams to the remaining 2 ruins, we were able to hold them off well. 19:57, 22:26 - several base hits on my base from their whales. Under weakening coverage, it was difficult for them to trade effectively against me, although they still took out a march or 2. I had to recall my march from the tower rein to better absorb any surprise whale hits. 34:37 - after determining that our lead was too large to be surpassed, players were allowed to go on offense to fight for their capital and dog fight.
