Start with a slip knot on your hook. Leave a tail of yarn that’s long enough to weave in later. 2. Chain 2. This sets up your starting point for the foundation stitch. 3. Insert your hook into the first chain (the one farthest from the hook). Yarn over and pull up a loop. You should now have 2 loops on your hook. 4. Yarn over and pull through 1 loop.
