Even though we lost, this is a good example of how wand/dagger can play as a healer in arena versus high skilled opponents. Both AshenGr and TMZB, are consistently within the top 10 rankings of arena, Kusinjo also top 10 at the time, so they definitely know what they are doing. My teammates, Phaora and Terzi are also insanely good players. This game was very close and we could have easily won if I had used my barrier on Phaora at 3:38. I missplayed and the game kinda snowballed from there. Rewatching this, I realise I made a lot of mistakes overall. A smoke screen and an earlier barrier at 4:48 would have also won us the game. It sucks but this "mirror match" shows that the class can be viable if played in a certain way and if you can outplay your opponents. Note: Your stats are gonna look bad and if you lose people are gonna blame you for it. You don't heal as much as a normal healer and you don't deal consistent dps like a damage dealer. And you don't need to, you only need to add that extra burst and anti heal to finish off targets and make your teammates survive when they're under pressure. Play to your strengths, anti heal, silence the healer, smoke screen, bait-kite-survive. Other healers don't have that. Last, I want to kindly ask arena players to stop giving up as soon as they see a wand/dagger in their team because we "take the healer spot". Yes my class is not the strongest - I know it, this is kinda why I play it. But, this is what I have, I enjoy playing it and it can work. We lost this game because I missplayed in crucial moments - not because of the class itself. Climbed to 1900 last season with the last week, then run out of time. Aiming for 2200 in Season 2.
