Inspection cameras can be a priceless item to have in your shop, but how much money do you invest in a tool you use once a month? This question is easier the more you use it, but for an average shop guy, they are not used much. In this video, I wanted to compare my $800 Milwaukee Tool Inspection Camera to a $250 Amazon Teslong camera. I was surprised at how good the Teslong was. Milwaukee Tool claims to have a 640 x 480 camera for best-in-class image quality while Teslong claims to have a 1280x720 HD camera. Obviously, that is a huge difference. The Milwaukee Tool has many more options and you can move the camera from the screen. The Teslong has 3 cameras in the head and it allows you to change between them easily. In our situation, the 3 cameras made it quick and easy to find what we were looking for. There are many, many affordable options to buy these units that will connect to your phone. I normally opt to move away from those units as our phones change more often now and the USB inputs also change. I do not want a tool that is tied to technology because the tool will have to be replaced faster.
