North West Spain Overland Episode One | First Night on the Mountains | Wildlife and Windy Trails

Arriving in North West Spain with our Toyota Landcruiser 200 conversion we traverse through our first forest overland tracks into the mountains. By the time we reach camp, night falls and strange sounds of the wilderness surround us. I am sleeping in the roof top tent for the first time in the cold windy mountains. At dawn we are greeted by our first livestock guardian Mastiff, a powerful reminder that the landscapes are shaped by working animals, predators and people living closely with nature. This is the beginning of a four part overland series, exploring remote tracks, wildlife photography and wilderness stories.
