Xcelerator's hydraulic catapult motor propels the train from 0 to 82 mph (132 km/h) in just 2.3 seconds, utilizing only 157 feet (48 m) of track for the launch. During this process, each of the twin hydraulic catapult motors reaches a peak output of 10,500 horsepower (7,800 kW). This is a coaster. Raw. Mechanical feel. Moving parts. Noises. Sense of speed is high, hard to hold onto something comfortably. Unsettling in nature. No comfy seats or fancy restraints, just a coaster.
