What’s happening in this Van Helsing movie clip? Velkan (Will Kemp - who also starred in Royal Matchmaker and the Reign series) is trying to kill a werewolf, and he's struggling. Anna (Kate Beckinsale - who also starred in Underworld and Pearl Harbor), his sister, arrives to save him and they manage to drop him into the trap they had set up, a large cage hanging from the trees. But as Velkan tries to shoot him down, his pistol drops, leaving him unarmed to face the monster. Everyone starts shooting the werewolf, but only Velkan's pistol has silver bullets that can kill the werewolf once and for all. The cage drops and the werewolf is freed before Anna can find her brother's pistol. He starts chasing her but she gets to the edge of a ravine, she's stuck. Fortunately, her brother appears to protect her and shoots the werewolf, saving her but falling into the ravine with him.
