The snowy range Scenic Byway in Wyoming is such an underrated gem of a mountain pass. Did you enjoy this Snowy Range roadtrip? Check out the Medicine Bow Peak Hike:    • Would You Summit Medicine Bow Peak???   The 29 mile long stretch of road of hwy 130 in Wyoming will offer you amazing views, alpine lakes, trails, picnic areas, and more! It is completely free to just drive through and use the pullouts, but with an interagency pass or a very inexpensive 5 dollar day pass you can stop at any of the trail heads or picnic areas as well. Its also smack in the middle of the Medicine Bow National Forest, with up to 16 days of free wild camping, just make sure you stick to marked off-road signage and keep campfires a minimum of 500 feet from the byway. Medicine Bow Peak is the premier summit of the area standing at an elevation of 12,018ft which you will prominently see from nearly anywhere on the drive.
