Does every patients with MIBC require a cystectomy?

Whilst neoadjuvant chemotherapy and surgery is the standard of care in MIBC, trimodal therapy consisting of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and transurethral resection of a bladder tumour (TURBT), as well as quadrimodal therapy with the addition of immunotherapy is gaining traction. Bladder preservation should be the ultimate aim whenever possible.
