But too often children with dwarfism are tossed aside and not thought of as worthy. People with disabilities as a whole are often put into adoption clinics or foster systems and it truly is a HUMAN PROBLEM. Please watch this video to learn more about what LPA does for adoption efforts! LPA is not an adoption agency, but has a volunteer committee that facilitates between the adoption agencies and the adoptive parents. By reaching out to adoption agencies, doctors, hospitals, geneticists, and others, they are able to locate children with dwarfism who are available for adoption and prospective parents who are interested in adopting.
