Caburn XC (Attempt) - Paragliding - 04/07/25

Here is a quick video of my first flight at Caburn on 04/07/25 where I was looking to try and do a cheeky XC away from Caburn. I got to around 1,300ft as I was following the thermal over the back of Caburn, however I then dropped out of it and after failing to hook back into it, I was left searching for any lift and only found sink, so ended up landing in a field just off the main road leading into Glynne Village. Was a fun attempt, but was always going to be hard on a blue day and from leaving the hill so low. I think one very skilled pilot did get away and made it to Kent, all other pilots got less than 11k from the hill, so turned out to be a tricky day. I then went back and had a second flight, by that time the wind was alot stronger. I got a waypoint in the southern challenge and then opted to land as it became very Gale Hangy (If thats a word). Good fun and will try again soon :)
