I've been a fan of Derek Webb since 1999. His early music speaks about a rigorous reformed spirituality that I resonated with strongly as a believer. His latest album, Fingers Crossed, is a tale of spiritual and marital divorce, and tackles the grief and confusion in their wake. Last Thursday I sat down with singer-songwriter Derek Webb in Buffalo before a house show. We had a great conversation about his music, spiritual skills, and about the time he nearly killed RC Sproul.
