Palmer Twp. Police were dispatched on 3-12-25 at Approx. 1900hrs to the rear of the Home Depot. Loss Prevention was following a black male who had taken items from the store. Unit 2709 was first on location finding the male near Richards Drive In along the bike path. The suspect fled and ended up entering an apartment (unknown if it was his). Patrol units surrounded the apartment and held the perimeter with assistance from Wilson Boro PD. After many verbal commands and no results, Palmer Twp Police K9- Nozy was deployed to assist in getting the suspect to comply. After a few commands the subject surrendered to K9-Nozy without being physically appended by the K9. Suspect was taken into custody without further incident. Great Job by all units working together!
