We Traveled 13 Hours for the Most Northern Town in the UP!

After we spent our 20th anniversary on Isle Royale we spent the rest of our week touring Copper Harbor Michigan and surrounding area. Copper Harbor is the most northern point in the Upper Peninsula on the Keweenaw Peninsula. Copper Harbor is known for its mountain biking around Brockway Mountain. We joined in the fun and rented mountain bikes. During our week in Copper Harbor we toured the historical site of Ft. Wilkins which was located right in the middle of our campgrounds. You can access this fort by the trails in the campgrounds. We also enjoyed a short two-tracking road in search of a lighthouse(Gull Point Lighthouse).
