If you've stuck around for a while on the channel you'll know what a colossal pain in the arse my Eberspacher diesel heater has been. Forever throwing up faults and not firing up, during the coldest of nights or when it been ran and is warm. Unless the conditions are as pin point as inside a hadron collider the bastard won't work! I've spent too long trying to make it work, it's as old as the van and I was confident it's day way done. So I'm swapping it out for a Chinese rip off version!
