Sonic Stories proudly presents Kush Upadhyay ft Anubha Kaul- Comatose ( Original) Kush Upadhyay is a guitarist/composer. He was intrigued by the sounds of Blues/Rock and Jazz/Rock music in his early teens and bands/musicians like Michael Landau, Tribal Tech and Scott Henderson were some of his early influences. Kush started playing live with a band called the Overdrive Collective led by Sunny Dsouza which helped Kush shape his sound and music. Since then Kush has been a part of various bands and associated with many musicians like Louiz Banks Guitar Synergy, Warren Mendonsa, Kanchan Daniel, and many more. He has been a part of various Bollywood artists as a session musician for Vishal and Shekhar, Amit Trivedi, Shirley Setia and Salim Sulaiman to name a few. “Anubha Kaul is a contemporary vocalist, songwriter and composer based in Bombay. Having begun her self-schooling lessons in piano at the age of 6, she trained her voice in Hindustani classical for about 6 years. She segued her interests into the contemporary genres of R&B, Soul, Funk, and Jazz in her early teens and has been rather active in putting out her content on social media, which has earned her a dedicated fan base. With some original projects in the works, she is now an active artist in the local music scene.
