These thumb book page holders for holding your book open with ease, were so much fun to make! Using simple cookie cutters I really enjoyed transforming each one into a different (yet functional) shape. Make sure your indicial slab is at least 3/4 inch or 19mm thick. Once you cut the shapes let them rest under plastic until they dry to the leather hard stage. Then soften all their edges with a damp sponge. These holders I'll be firing once to the bisque stage and then glaze and re-fire to cone 6 (2232F/1220C).
