On December 1st, 2018 I ventured up to Binghamton, New York to start the journey to capture the Capital Region Toys for Tots train. Powered by two Norfolk Southern SD60E locomotives, the consist was a sight to behold. This is the last year that the EMD E8's will be run due to the cost of the installation of PTC in the units seen here. After this run, they will be retired, the consist also consisted of beautifully maintained PV's also from the PRR group and others.
