U.S. adds 151,000 jobs in February and the unemployment rate rises from 4% to 4.1% in the first monthly jobs report in President Donald Trump’s second term. We hear from the President and from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, not only on the jobs report, but the future of interest rates and the impact of the president's tariff policies. With one week until federal government funding expires, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) talk about the Republicans' Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government through the remainder of the fiscal year, September 30, at current spending levels. Democrats and some Republicans speak at the "Stand Up for Science" rally in Washington to oppose the Trump Administration policies on science and funding science federal agencies.
